Chase's Blessing Day, June 7th

YEAH! It's Blessing Day...

Chase was blessed by his Daddy and it was lovely. I am blessed with a wonderful husband who I know will help Chase become the kind of man he is!

The Family

But she looked so sweet up there we had to take a quick snapshot while the boys were all 'dobbing' on her because we had just finished telling them not to climb the trees.

Poor Noah was a little squashed sharing his pram.

We went to a near by park for lunch afterwards and had a nice time just being together.

Dedicated to Sasha

Sasha is our beautiful dog who loves and takes care of us.

She is almost 3 years old and loves...

Adalia.

These two fell in love instantly. 'Sasha' was Adalia's first double syllable word and when pulling into the our driveway we were at 'Sasha's house'.

Sasha would run towards the back door and Adalia would shake with excitement... and despite the size difference, the rash and getting knocked over time and time again, Adalia was always just as eager to see her. (We had to separate them so Adalia could have a play without getting knocked down.)

 She will always bring a toy over to through... 

but she seems to think the game includes us getting the ball off her after she brings it back! 

Tummy scratches.

She loves a good pat and even more a good scratch from top to toe.

Kids.

 Sasha always wants to come out the front when the kids are playing in the front yard.

I'm sure when Chase is walking, Sasha will think we brought him home just for her.

Jony.

 Except when he gets her into trouble for barking or digging up pot plants to hide her bones.

Water.

 Sasha has a little blue shell full of water that she loves to play in, she has this idea that everybody loves it just as much a her, so she waits until she is as close to you as posible before she shakes!

What dog who likes water doesn't love an endless supply...

 

Play dates and sleep overs. 

Being inside with us.

Treats.

Especially from the kids, because she knows that she doesn't have to sit and instead of getting them one at a time, she gets them one handful at a time.

Chloe and Adalia feeding her treats thought the fly screen, which she conveniently pulled off a few days earlier.

Meeting Chase

Chase Hyrum arrived Monday April 6th at 6:57am

Chase was lucky enough to be delivered by his Grandmother (my mum) who was a couple of hours from finishing her shift in the birthing centre when we arrived. Mum stayed with me for the next 26 hours until he was delivered. The labour was long but no complications, Chase was quite calm through the whole thing and has continued to be that way since.

Height - 51cm

Weight - 3.33kg

Head circumference - 34.5cm

A fathers long awaited first cuddle...

All Chase wanted to do was flex his muscles for the camera.

The little Bump that grew...

Scarlett and I on a Sydney Harbor cruise organized

 by a supplier of the company she worked with. It was such a perfect night.

(This was in November just before the baby bump was really noticeable).

Even with a baby bump Scarlett is full of fun, the little dare devil

 is always thirsty for an adventure... with a little coaxing anyway.

The little baby bump grew and grew until it couldnt grow any more, so we thought at the time anyway.

But as you can see, Scarlett loved every minute of it!!!

For my birthday Scarlett and I stayed at a hotel in the city... One last night out on the town and a lovely breakfast at a cafe by the waters edge not long before 

that bump would change so much...
